Problem Statement
Tracetest was looking for a friendly and bold vibe that could really stand out in the market. They wanted to showcase the quality, number and variety of their products through their new brand identity. Of course, being part of the Kubeshop family visually was a must.
Our role
Firstly, we had to integrate Tracetest into the Kubeshop family, which already has several other brands with different vibes. So we had to find a way to make the brand stand out among all the other tech tools and Kubeshop brands.
Secondly, we wanted to give Tracetest a bold look and feel, because it didn't have any direct competition. It was necessary to let users know that this was a new product, and it's worth paying attention to.

Brand diagrams
For complicated tech products, it's crucial to accurately represent and visualize data while keeping the brand's identity in mind. Creating a custom branded diagrams for Tracetest was an important part of the design process.
Design Rationale
How do we prove that TraceTest is a tool to help people test? We used the idea of the Minotaur's maze, but made it really simple and clear just to show that every issue has a solution and every maze is navigable.

Logo anatomy
By mirroring the typography and layout of Kubeshop's logo, Tracetest fits right into the ecosystem, building on its trust. We also added a simple escape-the-maze symbol to the logo that visually represents the main idea behind Tracetest - to make complicated things simple.

We've created a flexible design system using Figma for Tracetest. It's a complete solution that ensures consistency across all platforms, covering basic elements like color schemes, fonts, icons, buttons, forms, menus, etc. Plus, we have pre-made templates and style guides to help teams use these assets effectively.
